Keywise

Keywise is my Windows desktop usage-statistics prototype. It counts aggregate keyboard and mouse activity while deliberately avoiding typed text, key sequences, window titles, URLs, clipboard data, screenshots, and mouse coordinates.

Privacy Model

Aggregate countersStores totals for keys, mouse buttons, active time, launches, pauses, and daily activity.

No typed contentDoes not save the text you type, ordered key sequences, or per-key timestamps.

Local storageUsage aggregates stay in local JSON storage on the Windows computer running Keywise.

User controlledTracking can be enabled or paused, and startup remains opt-in.

Interface
